    Descrição

    Objective:

    Brownpreneurs is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Office & Admin Assistant to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized, keeping track of details, and making sure things get done. You'll be helping with scheduling, emails, event planning, and general office tasks that keep our programs and team on track.

    Time Commitment: Flexible schedule. Preferably 5+ hours a week.

    Salary:

    Unpaid (Volunteer)

    Location: Remote

    Responsibilities:

    • Help with scheduling, emails, and general communication.
    • Keep documents and files organized (both digital and physical).
    • Assist with event planning and coordination.
    • Support fundraising efforts by keeping track of donors and outreach.
    • Manage calendars and help make sure meetings run smoothly.
    • Answer general inquiries and provide friendly support to our community.
    • Pitch in with other administrative tasks as needed.

    Relevant Skills, Competencies, and Experience:

    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Good at written and verbal communication.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and email tools.
    • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Friendly, proactive, and willing to jump in where needed.
    • Any experience in office support, admin work, or customer service is a plus!
    • Passion for youth entrepreneurship and community impact.

    Brownpreneurs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in St. Louis, Missouri. We provide entrepreneurial training for African-American high school and college students in the bi-state area.
