YMCA Healthy Kids Day - Taylorsville

Healthy Kids Day is part of the YMCA’s national initiative to improve the health & well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs & their communities have hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds & bodies active throughout the summer months & beyond.

Healthy Kids Day (Taylorsville) is Saturday, May 2nd from 10 AM - 1 PM with various volunteer shifts between 9 AM - 1:30 PM. Volunteers will help wrangle and interact with kids and family members at various stations throughout the event including: face painting, balloon twisting, bounce house safety, YMCA program booths, welcome table. We also have volunteer opportunities for event set up, take down, and building security.

All volunteers will receive an in-person onboarding before the event that reviews individual responsibilities and expectations.
