Interview
Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss your interests, availability, and the volunteer opportunities that best fit your skills.
Background Screening
Complete the required background check.
TB Test & Drug Test
Volunteer Orientation
Attend hospice volunteer orientation to learn about hospice philosophy, patient privacy, safety, and your volunteer role.
Shadow Visits
Complete supervised visits with an experienced volunteer or staff member before serving independently.
Begin Volunteering
Once all onboarding requirements are complete, we'll match you with patients or office opportunities based on your interests, availability, and preferred travel distance within our service area.
