Independent Living Housing, Inc. is looking for volunteer writers to help us tell our story.
We are a Detroit-based nonprofit that has been serving children, youth, and young adults with learning disabilities since 1998. For 25 years we have been doing this work. Now we are ready to share it with the world and we need writers to help us do that.
Here is what we are looking for:
We need people who can write blog posts about disability awareness, family advocacy, and community issues. We need people who can help us create simple, engaging content for our Facebook page. We need people who believe that words can change how communities see and support people with learning disabilities.
No formal experience is required. Just strong writing skills, a genuine interest in our mission, and the ability to commit to a few hours per week remotely.
