Our adult learners come from all over the world and have diverse educational backgrounds and English proficiency levels. As a volunteer tutor, you can support immigrants and refugees in:

• Improving English skills for everyday communication
• Developing digital literacy, from basic computer skills to navigating online tools
• Building skills for employment, including resume writing, interview practice, and workplace communication
• Preparing for U.S. citizenship by practicing English skills and the civics test
