Hope for a Better Future (H4BF) is seeking Agronomists, Soil Scientists, Horticulturists, Agroecologists, Livestock & Aquaculture Specialists, Irrigation Engineers, and Agribusiness Experts to help us start sustainable food production immediately on our newly secured 6-hectare site in Magba.
The site currently has a small 4-room office, and full construction of the Sustainable Resort & Training Hub will begin once funding is secured. While fundraising continues, we want to activate the land, produce food, train youth and women, and demonstrate climate-smart agriculture systems.
Key Tasks:
- Land, soil, and water assessment
- Designing sustainable farming systems
- Selecting crops, livestock, and integrated production models
- Setting up irrigation, composting, and planting plans
- Training youth and women in practical techniques
- Developing early agribusiness and value-chain models
Who Can Apply:
Local and international experts with advanced skills in agronomy, agroecology, horticulture, permaculture, soil science, livestock systems, irrigation, farm management, or agribusiness.
