The Volunteer will support the day-to-day operations of Deerfield Beach Community Cares by assisting with program coordination, participant engagement, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with event setup and facilitation and tracking participation data. The Volunteer will also help coordinate volunteers, distribute resources, and provide general support to ensure smooth program delivery.
We anticipate that volunteers will commit approximately 20 hours per week. We are flexible regarding specific days and times; however, we do ask for a consistent schedule to ensure continuity of support and meaningful engagement with participants.
Through this role, the intern will gain hands-on experience in community-based programming, nonprofit operations, and direct service while contributing to the overall impact and effectiveness of the organization’s initiatives.
