    Thrift Store Adventurer - Coeur d'Alene Youth Ranch
    • Who are we looking for: You’re a natural with people, effortlessly helping others find exactly what they’re looking for. Friendly, approachable, and easy to talk to, you thrive in a customer-focused environment. With a keen eye for discerning colors and a creative flair for organizing displays, you’re excited to join our store team and contribute to delivering exceptional service and a visually appealing experience at our thrift stores.
    • What will you be doing:
    • Support staff with routine product rotations to keep our inventory fresh. This involves rolling carts and placing product on the floor and pulling items.
    • Assist in collecting and categorizing donations
    • Enhance our customer service by warmly greeting and assisting shoppers.
    • Apply your expertise in categories like home goods, clothing, shoes, accessories, or books to assist with pricing.
    • Ensure the store’s shelves and racks are clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.

    • Why is this job needed/important:The Idaho Youth Ranch, one of the oldest non-profit agencies in Idaho, relies on dedicated volunteers to drive our mission forward. We come together to support Idaho’s youth by offering accessible programs and services that foster hope, healing, and resilience. At our thrift stores, volunteers play a vital role in maintaining fresh inventory through regular product rotations, providing exceptional customer service, and sharing expertise in pricing various categories like home goods, clothing, and accessories. By helping to keep our store shelves organized and welcoming, you contribute directly to our mission and make a positive impact in the community.

    • Availability:
    • Weekly (Days/Hours vary by stores)
    • To volunteer for this opportunity, you will need to (PLEASE REVIEW REQUIRMENTS):
    • Be at least 13years old.
    • Submit application.
    • Submit to a general criminal background check.
    • Complete interview
    • Comply with all Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Policies and Procedures
