Do You Love to Create? Share Your Handmade Items with PIH Health Whittier Patients!

For anyone looking to bring joy to our patients, we welcome donations for our Comfort Cart. PIH Health Whittier offers our patients comfort with select items through the kindness of our volunteers. Assigned Comfort Cart volunteers round patient rooms and give out donated items. Do you sew? Knit? Crochet? Pottery? Share your creative handmade items with our patients! Donations may include blankets, beanies, pillows, cozy socks/slippers, coffee mugs, burp clothes or home made Cards (Congratulations/Get Well). This is a great way to volunteer by doing what you love, from the comfort of your home. Other items we'd accept are magazines, small jigsaw puzzles, adult coloring books, crayons, hygiene kits for the homeless, washcloths, feminine hygiene products, hair brushes, fabric tor our sewing committee to create pillows, etc. With your kindness, we're able to put Patients First and enhance our patient's stay here.
