Hollywood Film Festival Call for Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers to be part of the Haiti International Film Festival special cultural celebration! This year, we will honor Haitian and African diaspora cinema at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday, August 15, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. As we mark our 11th anniversary, we are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help us create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Volunteer Roles Available

• Ushers: Greeting guests, ticket check-in, seating assistance
• Parking Escorts: Guiding guests from parking areas to the theatre
• Step and Repeat / Setup: Red carpet, signage, and photo area preparation
• Food and Hospitality: Setting up and serving meals, maintaining stations, guest care
• Cleanup Crew: Evening breakdown after the event

IMPORTANT:

Please note that we will do our best to place volunteers on their “preferred” assignments, however, we may have to place volunteers on priority duties based on need. Right now, we need volunteers for both shifts 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
