We are seeking skilled cinematography and video editing volunteers to support social media campaigns that bring visibility to the real, human experience of cancer patients through art, storytelling, and mindful visual language.
This role is for creatives who understand that how a story is told matters, especially in sensitive, purpose-driven work. We are building a small, committed team, not looking for one-off edits.
Volunteers will help:
- Capture and edit short-form cinematic video for Instagram, TikTok, and campaign use
- Translate concepts around arts, health, mindfulness, and human resilience into visual stories
- Support campaigns that raise awareness while honoring the dignity and reality of cancer patients
- Work collaboratively with creative direction, messaging, and campaign goals
You are a strong fit if you:
- Have experience in cinematography, video editing, or visual storytelling
- Understand lighting, composition, pacing, and emotional tone
- Can edit short-form content with intention (not trend-chasing only)
- Are comfortable working with real stories and sensitive subject matter
- Are reliable, communicative, and respectful of deadlines
- Can share a portfolio or video samples (required)
Experience with social media formats is important, but storytelling and judgment matter more than trends.
- Ongoing involvement (weekly or bi-weekly participation)
- Clear communication and follow-through are essential
- Willingness to collaborate and receive feedback
- This is not a one-time or casual volunteer opportunity
- If your availability is unpredictable, this may not be the right role
We deeply respect our volunteers’ time—and expect the same level of respect in return.
