Our data was compromised due to a malware incident, and we are currently working to rebuild our Excel database from the ground up.

Our organization focuses on violence prevention, providing tools to support individuals experiencing a dangerous crisis—particularly those at risk of committing lethal violence, whether toward a single individual or multiple people.

One of our key contributions is a search engine available on our website (www.cbgcommunity.com). This tool offers free access to national and local crisis resources across all states, including hotlines, text services, chat support, and online counseling.

We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented and passionate about data accuracy. This work is critical: it ensures that people in moments of extreme crisis can quickly find accessible, reliable support that may help de-escalate their situation and prevent harm.

The responsibilities of this role include rebuilding a comprehensive Excel database covering all U.S. states. This involves verifying that each listed service is still active and updating key details such as hours of operation, availability, and service types (hotline, text, chat, and online counseling). Many services may appear across multiple states. In total, approximately 200 agencies are represented.
