Accounting Manager

SOAR Outreach is a local nonprofit in Wake County, NC that provides resources to underserved youth and families. We are looking to grow our executive team to help with the day to day operation of the organization. We are looking to add a Accounting Manager.

The responsibility for this role is all bookkeeping and accounting functions, QuickBooks administration, purchasing practices, financial monitoring and reporting, investments, payroll coordination, and compliance with all requirements for financial reviews/audits, grants and contracts.

The requirements are:

1. Prefer a college degree in accounting

2. Years of accounting experience preferable for a nonprofit organization

3. Previous leadership experience preferred

4. Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, CRM and QuickBooks

5. Flexible schedule and remote

6. Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations is helpful
