We're looking for people who love to hike our trails!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Update Volunteer Agreement and Waiver and Background Check annually prior to volunteering.
Walk the trail route weekly. Hourly shifts are available and vary by park.
Identify and document areas of concern.
Submit any issues/concerns to the Park Supervisor via email.
Be available to respond to questions that Parks staff may have regarding issues/concerns.
Answer questions other visitors may have regarding basic park operations, trails routes and rules.

In order to become a volunteer, please follow these instructions:
1. Fill out the application.

2. Complete and pass a background check (adults 18+ only).
Our Parks Commission has directed us to perform background checks that include a search of these 3 areas:
- Nationwide Criminal Database
- Social Security Address Trace
- Nationwide Sex Offender Registry
This step is intended to provide for the safety and security of Park patrons, other volunteers and staff at our recreation programs and operations. Please note: you will be invited to complete this via email and/or text and the link expires after 5 days. Please reply to have a new link sent if you miss the deadline.
