Volunteer! The Dogs and Cats Will Thank You!

Volunteers are needed for the many different opportunities: (If you have skills or passion, we can find the spot for you!)

Shelter Volunteer: You can volunteer at the municpal animal shelters in Garland, Rowlett, Sachse or Richardson Texas through our program. This includes tasks such as walking dogs, caring for cats, laundry/dishes and assisting potential adopters.

Offsite Dog Adoptions: this includes anything from bathing dogs before the event, transporting them to/from the event, handling them and talking to potential adopters, or setting up the event venue.

PetSmart Cat Crew: Our organization rescues cats and when ready, adopts them out through one of three PetSmart Cat Adoption Centers. Our volunteers maintain the adoption center by cleaning the cat condos, replacing liter, feeding/watering, and cleaning of the adoption area. Of course there is also cat cuddling time each shift!

Social Media/Online Marketing: Do you like creating social media posts, creating videos and sharing content on social media? Do you have the technology skills along with the passion to create eye catching posts? Are you Facebook, Instagram or TikTok savvy where you can cross-post to several pages/groups? This is for you!

As you can see, there are many things that are involved with getting the animals adopted, so there is bound to be something that you love to do or that fits your personality!
