Volunteer Opportunity: End-of-Life Doula - A Sacred Presence for Hospice Patients

Are you called to provide comfort, connection, and compassion at life’s most meaningful moments? Holisticare Hospice is seeking End-of-Life Doulas to join our dedicated team of volunteers.

End-of-Life Doulas offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support to patients and families as they navigate the end-of-life journey. Through your intentional presence and open heart, you can help create a peaceful and dignified environment for those in their final days.

As an End-of-Life Doula, you may:

• Offer companionship, comfort, and a calming presence
• Provide comfort measures and sit vigil during final hours
• Offer respite to caregivers
• Listen with compassion and hold space for emotions
• Encourage life review, legacy exploration, and meaningful rituals (such as prayer, singing, or reading)
• This is a unique opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families with empathy and grace.
