Volunteer Opportunity: Friendly Visitor & Activity Companion
Location: Milwaukie Area
Setting: Memory Care Community
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in the life of an older adult? We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide one-on-one companionship and social engagement for a participant living in a memory care setting.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Friendly visits and conversation
- Listening to music together
- Enjoying simple movements or dancing to favorite songs
- Talking about dogs, nature, and the outdoors
- Providing companionship and emotional support
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Patient, kind, and dependable
- Comfortable interacting with older adults living with memory loss
- Able to communicate clearly and allow extra time for responses
- No gender preference
About the Participant: This participant enjoys dogs, music, dancing, and spending time outdoors. He benefits from calm, one-on-one visits and meaningful social connection.
Commitment: Flexible based on volunteer availability.
