    Start Date: Ongoing – Semester started 21 July 2025

    Hours per week: 4 (flexible)

    The Opportunity

    Our fifth semester began on Monday 21 July 2025 and runs until the third week of November. We are still recruiting teachers to join the current term — so if you’re interested in joining now, we warmly invite you to apply.

    We are also welcoming early applications for our sixth semester, which begins in January 2026.

    Whether you’re ready to begin now or would prefer to start next year, we’d love to hear from you.

    Volunteer Requirements and Weekly Commitment

    • Teach two 1-hour lessons per week (on non-consecutive days)
    • Allow up to 2 hours per week for lesson preparation and student support
    • Total weekly commitment: 4 hours
    • Flexible scheduling — you choose your teaching times
    • Maximum class size: 15 girls per class
    • Commitment: Remainder of this semester or register for next semester (January 2026)

    Your Responsibilities

    • Deliver engaging online English lessons
    • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
    • Submit midterm and final progress reports for your class
    • Foster an inclusive, encouraging online classroom environment
    • Offer one-to-one guidance to students when needed
    • Collaborate with co-teachers and the wider teaching team
    • Support the broader mission of women’s education and empowerment in Afghanistan

    Ideal Candidate

    • Fluent in spoken and written English
    • Holds a TEFL or equivalent teaching certification
    • Confident using online platforms like Google Meet and Google Classroom
    • Organised, reliable, and proactive
    • Culturally sensitive and committed to equality in education
