Veteran Volunteers for Veterans

At Legacy Hospice, we are firm believers that our patients and their families come first to provide excellent care during this transitional period of time in life’s journey.

We are seeking Veterans or current Military members to visit with our Veterans who are on Hospice care. Our Veterans are at a variety of different levels of ability. Seeking a companion who may want to engage in sharing stories, reminiscing about their time in the service, providing a light activity or getting outside for fresh air.

Volunteering plays a vital role in the hospice program, we look to our volunteers to provide a variety of support services to our patients. We serve patients all over Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Dodge, Walworth, Racine, Kenosha county and surrounding areas.

Thank you for your consideration in the volunteer program with Legacy Hospice. We truly understand that time is valuable, and would like to further express how grateful we are for you to consider in making a difference in the lives of others through the volunteer role.
