Our foundation is seeking a creative and passionate volunteer to join our growing team. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence to spread awareness of our mission, which is to educate the public on early warning signals, proactive monitoring, and cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and informative social media content, such as posts, captions, and graphics, that align with the foundation's core messaging and goals.
Utilize Canva and content scheduling tools such as Monday and Meta to produce consistent and professional content that meets the foundation's standards and voice.
Engage daily with followers, respond to comments, and interact with relevant communities across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X to build awareness and grow our audience.
Spot and adapt current social media trends to fit the foundation's mission and bring one trend per week to the team's weekly brainstorm session.
Attend one 30 minute weekly Zoom brainstorm session to align on content, trends, and priorities with the team.
Commit 1 to 3 hours weekly to support the foundation's social media and marketing initiatives. This is an ongoing volunteer role with no set end date.
