    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Blog Post Editor and Approver. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and consistency of the content we publish on our website and social media platforms. The Blog Post Editor and Approver will be responsible for reviewing and approving blog posts submitted by our writers, ensuring that all content aligns with our mission, meets editorial standards, and is free of errors before it is published.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Review: Review and approve blog posts submitted by our writers, ensuring they are clear, concise, and engaging.
    • Consistency Check: Ensure that all content aligns with the organization’s voice, style guide, and mission.
    • Grammar and Quality Control: Proofread posts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
    • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to writers to help them improve their content and maintain high standards.
    • Timely Approvals: Ensure blog posts are reviewed and approved within the required timeframes for scheduling and publishing.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with content writers, the content manager, and other team members to ensure smooth content workflow.
    • Content Strategy Alignment: Ensure that all blog posts support our overarching content strategy and goals.

    Nice To Have:

    • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
    • Familiarity with editorial standards, tone, and style.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to provide constructive feedback in a clear, professional manner.
    • Familiarity with basic SEO practices is a plus.
    • Experience in blogging, writing, or content editing is preferred.
    • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a passion for high-quality content. You should have an eye for detail, a good understanding of how blog content supports our mission, and the ability to help writers refine their work to meet editorial standards.
