Young Professional Associate Member Guidelines

MAKE-A-WISH GEORGIA'S MISSION:

To create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

OUR PURPOSE:

To positive promote Make-A-Wish Georgia's philanthropy through personal giving, event-based fundraising, corporate engagement, and volunteering to help fulfill the mission.

The MAWGA Young Professionals Board exists to build awareness and raise money for the granting of wishes. As a part of that mission, Young Professional Board Members are expected to be active members by attending board functions, participating in events (e.g. serving on an event committee), and meeting an annual monetary fundraising goal. Current and past board members have had success meeting these goals through a variety of activities-- such as golf tournaments, at-home wine tasting parties, and company fundraising initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Minimum 3-years business experience (or relevant professional/postgraduate experience).
2. Demonstrated commitment to philanthropy through volunteering, fundraising, and personal giving.
3. Must be at least 21 years of age or older to apply
