Descrição
We are looking for volunteers to offer a supportive presence and socialization for our patients and families. You will make a difference by volunteering along our hospice staff in a variety of opportunities.
As an AccentCare hospice volunteer, you will learn about AccentCare philosophy of care, communicating with patients and families, family dynamics, spiritual care and the grief process.
Common activities our volunteers do with our patients include
- Reading to the patient
- Singing to the patient
- Sharing stories
- Playing games
