Home Front Heroes: Housing Kit Volunteer

The Housing Kit Volunteer helps veterans turn an empty house into a home. Working one-on-one with veterans transitioning out of homelessness, you'll help them select essential household items and coordinate the delivery of their Housing Kit as they move into permanent housing.

Volunteers contact veterans to confirm their move-in date, ensure they have received the keys to their new home, and shop with them for approved household essentials such as kitchenware, bedding, bathroom supplies, and other everyday necessities.

This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact by helping veterans begin the next chapter of their lives with dignity, comfort, and the essentials needed to make a house feel like home.
