Are you looking for IN PERSON opportunities to help community members on hospice services ? : ORGANIZATION: GENTIVA HOSPICE

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and /or their families at local healthcare facilities or in their homes in the areas or Worcester County.

Volunteers are needed who:

• Play music for patients
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans on hospice
• Want to make a legacy project and craft with and for patients and their loved ones
• Are you willing to listen and talk, read a book, play a game, or watch a favorite show

+ Companionship Volunteers do not have to perform and clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting, bathing or transferring.

+Volunteer schedule their own visits - day/time

+ Volunteers receive training that fits into any busy schedule
