Descrição
About the Organization
The Village Support Fund is a founding-phase non-profit initiative based in New York. We are developing a specialized "Trusted Nominator" model for direct-aid distribution, designed to mitigate economic instability for specific high-risk populations during critical health-related transitions.
We prioritize a Closed-Loop system—working exclusively through community partners rather than public applications—to ensure operational integrity and focused impact.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking two additional strategic advisors to join our founding circle. We are looking for individuals who view governance as a craft and want to help build a high-integrity framework from the ground up:
- Philanthropy & Grantmaking: Expertise in designing restricted-referral models and equitable distribution frameworks.
- Legal & Compliance: Knowledge of non-profit bylaws, IRS 501(c)(3) regulations, and risk mitigation.
- Strategic Finance: A professional (CPA preferred) to advise on Internal Controls and the Segregation of Duties.
Commitment & Scope
- Time: One 45-minute monthly strategic sync (virtual).
- Focus: Establishing the programmatic mechanics and compliance layers of our distribution model.
- Nature of Work: This is a governance-focused role; you will be acting as a "checks and balances" partner to the Founder during the pilot phase.
