Marketing team - Content writers for CrowdDoing

CrowdDoing supports a social innovation venture lab and a portfolio of social enterprises. Both the lab and the social enterprises aim to achieve systemic change through collaboration with virtual volunteers.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a strong writer with an inquisitive nature who can find something intrinsically interesting with any assignment. This role requires someone who can be creative with content strategy, who is self-motivated, organized and possesses strong self-editing skills. The ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients is crucial for success.

Essential Tasks:

• Translate content ideas into actionable tasks.
• Create and manage content marketing calendars.
• Self-edit and edit content produced by other team members.
• Use SEO best practices to format and publish content.
• Ensure content has a consistent look and feel and is properly formatted for various online channels.
• Track, measure and report on content performance.
• Collaborate with team members from other marketing channels to ensure a cohesive strategy for shared clients.
• Manage multiple projects and topics simultaneously, seamlessly moving from niche to niche as needed.

Min Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Proficient in WordPress, MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, copy editing skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO and web analytics.

Skills Needed:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressures.
• Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate.
• Highly proficient with all major social media platforms.
