Spanish-Speaking Volunteer Needed (Glenner Encinitas)

The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® is seeking a warm, patient Spanish-speaking volunteer to assist participants who feel most comfortable communicating in Spanish. Your presence can help them feel understood, welcomed, and supported.

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal volunteers:

• Speak Spanish
• Are 16+ (volunteers under 18 must participate with an adult)
• Can commit to 3 hours per month for six months

Location & Availability

Volunteering takes place at our Encinitas center on weekdays. We offer flexible scheduling to fit school, work, or personal commitments.

Steps to Join

1. Submit an application
2. Complete a brief interview
3. Pass a background check
4. Provide proof of a clear TB test & COVID-19 vaccination (with exemptions available)
5. Attend a short orientation (combination of online and in person)

Once everything is completed, we’ll introduce you to the Encinitas staff and participants.
