Make a difference--become a hospice volunteer!

Gentiva Hospice volunteers are vital members of our caring team for patients and families. We provide excellent training and on-going support for our volunteers, who make an incredible difference in people's lives. Patient support volunteers make regular visits, providing companionship, emotional support, and care. Some also relieve caregivers who need to take a break. Administrative volunteers assist us with vital tasks related to patient care. Our volunteers always say they receive far more than they give--but our patients, families, and staff all know what a wonderful difference volunteers make--because they bring the most important gift of all--caring.
