At Samaritan, no experience required; just share your heart and enrich your life.
We welcome you to become a Friendly Caller and make meaningful phone calls a few hours weekly to adults who are socially isolated or lonely and with whom you share hobbies and interests.
Volunteer from your own home using a call hub to respect privacy and confidentiality. Complimentary orientation and training provided. Must be 18+ years old.
Samaritan abides by the National Hospice and Palliative Care guideline that anyone who has experienced a significant loss of a loved one within the past 12 months must wait one year from the date of loss before volunteering.
You can attend the orientation and training in person or virtually.
