Canine Companion- Parent and Me Program

Participate in our Parent and Me Program with your kiddo! Our Parent and Me program is for parents or trusted adults (21+) to particpate and donate service alongside their child, ages 8-15 years old. There is a 1 adult to 1 child required ratio.

As Parent and Me Canine Companions, you will build connections with our dogs, volunteers, and staff as you spend time with our dogs. Duties of this assignment include walking dogs, playing with dogs in a playyard, socializing with dogs, and cleaning up after them in kennels, walks, and play yards.

It is an essential volunteer role as it helps our dogs be ready to put their best paw forward for potential adopters. Volunteers help us collect information, behaviorally and medically, about our dogs. They give them the love and care they deserve until they find their homes.
