Join Family Development and Samaritan Foundation (FDSF) as we prepare to serve hundreds of children and families through our annual Back-to-School Drive & Health Fair!
This event supports FDSF's "No Child is A Failure Initiative," which is dedicated to:
- Providing scholarships to students
- Offering after-school academic assistance
- Distributing school supplies to children in need
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help create a welcoming and impactful experience for families in our community.
Volunteer Opportunities

- Registration and guest check-in
- School supply distribution
- Crowd management and guest assistance
- Vendor and community partner support
- Children's activities and family engagement
- General event support

🕑 Volunteer Sign-In Begins: 2:00 PM
🎒 Distribution Begins: 2:30 PM

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Family Development & Samaritan Foundation (FDSF) Back-to-School Drive & Health Fair!
Please review the following before signing up:
- Complete the volunteer registration form in its entirety.
- Volunteers should arrive by 1:45 PM and no later than 2:00 PM for check-in and event instructions.
- Wear comfortable attire (top with black pants, skirt, or dress) and comfortable closed-toe shoes. The color-code will be provided during volunteer orientation.
- Be prepared to assist wherever needed, including event setup, registration, school supply distribution, guest assistance, children's activities, or event cleanup.
- Please notify us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to volunteer.
- Volunteers under 18 may need parental or guardian consent.
- Community service hours are available upon request. Please email damiloladeborah@fdsf.org for verification and documentation requirements.
- Event details and volunteer assignments will be emailed closer to the event date.
