SASA is looking for Fundraising Volunteers (unpaid) to assist our Fundraising team in developing and executing fundraising campaigns, ensuring that all activities are aligned with our organizational goals and values. You will have the opportunity to engage with donors, organize fundraising events, and implement strategies to attract new funding sources. This is a flexible position that allows you to contribute your skills and creativity while making a significant impact the devaluation of the study of the ancient world in universities and high schools. They must be flexible, adaptive, and comfortable working independently as new projects and tasks emerge.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and execute fundraising campaigns
- Assist in the planning and organization of fundraising events; including logistics, promotion, and coordination of volunteers
- Design and Implement strategies to attract new funding sources; including researching and reaching out to potential donors and sponsors
- Create compelling fundraising materials, such as appeals, brochures, and social media content
- Track and analyze fundraising data to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide excellent donor stewardship by ensuring timely and personalized acknowledgement of contributions
- Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors
