Crohn's & Colitis Foundation - Take Steps Houston

Take Steps Houston is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest and most impactful fundraising event, bringing together the IBD community for a day of connection, support, and hope.

Volunteers are at the heart of this event—helping create a welcoming, organized, and meaningful experience for patients, families, and supporters.

Responsibilities may include greeting participants as they arrive, helping with check-in, and providing general event support.

Additional tasks may include handing out snacks and water, assisting with light setup or cleanup, and capturing photos throughout the event to help document the day.

Volunteers may also help at the Camp Oasis Corner, supporting children with activities and ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

No prior experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help!
