Descrição
Caring Hospice Services is looking for compassionate and outgoing individuals to visit patients with a terminal diagnosis. Friendly Visitors make a big difference and help improve the patient's quality of life. We provide a thorough training so that you will feel comfortable and confident in your role as a volunteer with us.
We currently need volunteers to visit patients living at home or in long-term care facilities in Jefferson Hills
There are many things you can do as a Friendly Visitor, including:
- Conversation
- Listen to music or podcasts
- Watch TV or movies
- Read books or listen to audiobooks
- Play games
- Arts and crafts
- Help the patient with their favorite activities
- Provide emotional or spiritual support
- and more…
