Maxcare Hospice provides comfort for patients and families navigating the challenges of end of life care. in addition to physical needs, patients and family members often lack emotional and social support...that's where volunteer's come in. Volunteers can help provide support for the patient with the family cannot, just by "being there".

We have an immediate need for a Spanish speaking volunteer to visit a patient in her private home in Anaheim a couple of times per week. Visits are not long, rather the idea is let the patient know they are not alone. This patient is pleasant and family would appreciate having a visitor come to provide companionship for comfort and enjoyment. All training is provided.
