Grief’s Light Outreach is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting mothers after the loss of a child. We are seeking a dependable Volunteer Board Treasurer to help provide financial oversight and accountability as our organization grows.
Responsibilities
- Review income, expenses, and financial records
- Provide financial updates at board meetings
- Assist with the annual budget
- Help ensure accurate financial records and nonprofit compliance
- Provide financial guidance to the Founder and Board
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
- Experienced in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, banking, or a related field
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Committed to confidentiality and financial integrity
- Supportive of GLO’s faith-based mission
Nonprofit financial experience and familiarity with North Carolina nonprofit practices are a plus.
Time Commitment: Approximately 2–4 hours per month, including quarterly virtual board meetings.
Compensation: Volunteer position.
