About SF Civic Tech
SF Civic Tech is a welcoming and inclusive community of developers, designers, data enthusiasts, and civic-minded volunteers. We harness creative technology to tackle pressing civic and social challenges. We are proud members of the Alliance of Civic Technologists.
SafeHome
SafeHome is building an online resource that empowers San Francisco residents to assess earthquake risks by address. As we have just completed our Beta release, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Partnerships Manager to drive collaboration with government officials and neighborhead leaders and market SafeHome in a variety of distribution channels.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a volunteer Partnerships Manager who can initiate outreach to community organizations, meet regularly with city and neighborhood leaders, and translate insights into strategy with a cross-functional team. This role is essential for ensuring we build SafeHome in alignment with city government strategy and to solve real community needs. The North Star is to build one or multiple long-standing collaborations with recognized disaster preparedness organizations in San Francisco and eventually achieving an official endorsement.
