Telemarketing Volunteer

Do you love talking? Do you love interacting with people? This is the perfect volunteer oppotunity for you. Boys 2 men Girls 2 Women constantly has ongoing projects and programs and we are in need of go getters who can grab attention.

As a volunteer Telemarketer you will be doing:

• Delivering scripted talks that describe our organizations programs or services, a have a community outreach talking point or charity appeal to persuade potential clients, collaborators or donors to be a part of our amazing organization.
• Explaining services, programs and projects we have to offer and upcoming fundraisers and events.
• Answering client information about services, a charity or programs
• Obtaining client information such as name and address and inputting into a database.
• Keeping track of clients that have been contacted and those who do not want to be contacted in the future
• Following up on previous clients for potential prospects
• Maintaining records of client contacts

If you have this experience and would like to assist our organization, please contact us to schedule a 2-hour orientation interview. Applications will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am-12pm. Applicants must be available for 2 hours when turning in the application. Orientation and interview will be conducted on the same day.

Per California State law AB 506 it is required that all volunteers working in a child-serving organization complete a background and fingerprint check. Adult applicants will also be required to undergo fingerprints the same day (off-site) which is a cash only $30 fee (Minors will not have to undergo a background check).
