Hiring Humanitarians: Volunteer Board Members Wanted

Veteran Women of Influence (VWOI) is a startup nonprofit being built from the ground up — including the home, the board, the programming, and our public presence.

We are currently seeking volunteer Board Members who want to help build a strong, ethical, and visible foundation for a mission serving female military veterans navigating career transition, housing instability, and life-changing circumstances.

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Nonprofit Governance & Mission-Driven Strategy

• Finance / Budget Oversight

• Grants & Institutional Funding

• Corporate Philanthropy & Strategic Partnerships

• Development & Fundraising (individual giving, campaigns, donor strategy)

• Marketing, Communications & Public Visibility

• Technology / Website / Digital Infrastructure

• Social Media, Storytelling & Community Engagement
