    About Solution Community

Solution Community is an international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, pioneering an innovative social platform dedicated to enabling actionable change. With volunteers from over 70 countries, we are a testament to the power of global collaboration. Our team members bring experiences from some of the world’s most successful companies, including Apple, Toyota, Google, Netflix, Walmart, Meta, and many others, creating a rich tapestry of knowledge and passion.

    Our Mission

To foster a global community of compassion, uniting individuals and organizations to solve the world’s social problems. We are the bridge that connects non-profits, businesses, philanthropists, and volunteers, empowering them to create meaningful change for current and future generations.

    Our Vision

Imagine a world where every person can thrive—a world united by collaboration, compassion, and action. At Solution Community, we are turning that vision into reality, driving transformative change that reshapes the future.

The Role: Recruitment Operations & Research Specialist

As our Recruitment Operations & Research Specialist, you will strengthen the foundation of Solution Community’s growing talent function. You will research, evaluate, and optimize the tools, systems, and resources that power our recruitment efforts — ensuring we make the most of our limited nonprofit budget while building a strong, diverse, and mission‑aligned pipeline.

You will analyze free job boards, assess ATS platforms (BreezyHR, Dover, iKrut), review job descriptions for clarity and inclusivity, and identify the best tools and strategies to support a lean, volunteer-driven recruitment team. Your work will directly influence how effectively we attract, engage, and support global talent.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys research, systems thinking, and building processes that help a mission-driven organization scale responsibly.

    What Will You Do?

    Research & Insights

    • Identify and evaluate free and low-cost job boards aligned with nonprofit, tech-for-good, and global volunteer roles.
    • Build and maintain a directory of posting platforms, outreach channels, and talent communities.
    • Analyze performance data to determine which sources yield the strongest candidates.

    ATS & Systems Analysis

    • Assess the strengths and limitations of our current ATS (BreezyHR) and previous systems (Dover, iKrut).
    • Recommend workflow improvements that reduce friction for recruiters and candidates.
    • Support the creation of simple dashboards, reports, and process documentation.

    Job Description Optimization

    • Review job descriptions for clarity, inclusivity, and alignment with nonprofit best practices.
    • Benchmark roles against similar organizations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
    • Recommend improvements that enhance outreach, branding, and candidate engagement.

    Pipeline & Outreach Support

    • Research talent communities, volunteer networks, and mission-aligned groups for targeted outreach.
    • Identify free or low-cost ways to expand our reach and strengthen our employer brand.
    • Support sourcing strategies that help build diverse, global pipelines.

    Branding & Candidate Experience

    • Evaluate how Solution Community appears to candidates across platforms.
    • Recommend improvements to job postings, messaging, and recruitment templates.
    • Help create consistent, polished communications that reflect our values and mission.

    Collaboration & Support

    • Partner with the Recruitment, People, Partnerships, and Build teams to ensure alignment.
    • Create guides, templates, and resources that improve recruitment operations.
    • Help establish internal systems that make our growing organization more resilient.

    Who Are We Looking For?

    Analytical & Resourceful Thinkers

    • Strong research, analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to evaluate tools, platforms, and processes with a critical eye.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    Process‑Oriented & Detail‑Driven

    • Experience with ATS platforms or recruitment operations is a plus.
    • Ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

    Mission‑Driven Collaborators

    • Passionate about supporting social impact through talent and systems work.
    • Adaptable and comfortable working in a remote, multicultural, volunteer-driven environment.
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

    Bonus Points For:

    • Experience in nonprofit recruiting or talent operations.
