Our hospice is looking for volunteers that would be available and willing to help spend time with patients that live in your area and serve their fellow community members. Hospice volunteers should have a compassionate and kind attitude toward their patients. They should strive to provide comfort and support for both the patient and their family members. They should be reliable, punctual, and prepared for the tasks assigned to them. Good communication skills are essential in this role. Volunteering with Compassus is very flexible and rewarding!

My name is Mira Ackman, thank you for your interest in volunteering with Compassus. We are always looking for compassionate people to spend time with patients on hospice. End of life care is a hard, but necessary part of the life cycle. We want to make that part of healthcare as compassionate as possible for our patients and their families.
