DeGrio Global Learning Academy Inc. is seeking Education and Learning Support Volunteers to assist with the launch of our flexible learning pilot. This opportunity may be a good fit for education students, early childhood education students, special education candidates, child development students, psychology/counseling students, retired educators, community volunteers, or individuals seeking meaningful service experience with children and families.
Volunteers may assist with lesson preparation, tutoring support, small-group learning activities, classroom or virtual learning support, family engagement materials, enrichment activities, developmental learning supports, and program documentation. Volunteers may also help create learning resources, support student engagement, assist with basic progress tracking, and contribute to a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
This is a volunteer-based opportunity. It may support observation hours, service-learning hours, field experience, or teaching-related volunteer hours depending on the requirements and approval process of the volunteer’s school, college, university, or training program. Academic credit or formal field placement must be approved by the volunteer’s educational institution.
Ideal volunteers should be dependable, patient, compassionate, organized, and interested in supporting children and families. Volunteers should have strong communication skills, respect for confidentiality, and a willingness to learn.

This is a volunteer-based opportunity. Volunteers may support early learning activities, lesson preparation, virtual learning support, tutoring/small-group support, family engagement materials, or pilot program support based on experience, availability, and program needs.
If you are seeking academic credit, field hours, observation hours, service-learning hours, or volunteer hours, please include the type of hours needed and any requirements from your school, college, university, or training program. Formal credit or field placement approval must come from your educational institution.
Selected volunteers may be asked to complete a brief orientation and any required onboarding steps before supporting children or families.
