    Ascend New England, the New England chapter of the largest global network dedicated to the advancement of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) professionals in the workplace and on corporate boards, is looking for an experienced professional to join our leadership team as the VP of Marketing. Depending on the individual’s level of experience, we also have a Marketing Officer role open.

    Ascend is powered by a network of accomplished professionals and executives from global companies who generously volunteer their time in order to advance the state of API equity at work. We develop, support, and empower API professionals throughout their careers with a wide range of programs and a professional community.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of marketing, communication, and brand strategies (coordinate with and leverage resources from National where necessary)
    • Oversee and advise on the use of public channels for external communications, membership engagement, and coordinate with event leads to monitor event participation
    • Coordinate with committees to develop marketing and communications for chapter programming
    • Drive the brand awareness and digital growth strategy for the chapter.
    • Responsible for management and oversight of social media accounts and the Chapter website
    • May lead a marketing officer (to be recruited)

    Expectations:

    • A minimum of 5-10 hours monthly time commitment
    • Serves a minimum term of two years (refresh at end of term)
