Community Engagement & Fundraising Volunteer

Position Overview:

Helping Wings is seeking a passionate and proactive volunteer to help us expand our reach and increase support for children in need of life-saving medical treatments. This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with the community, raising awareness for a meaningful cause, and helping drive fundraising efforts. Volunteers will play a key role in sharing our mission, building relationships, and generating resources that directly impact families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Helping Wings through community events and other outreach channels.
• Assist with planning and executing fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and donor events.
• Identify potential community partnerships or sponsorship opportunities.
• Engage with supporters, volunteers, and donors to grow our network and impact.
• Track outreach and fundraising results and help provide feedback for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with cold calling and outreach activities.
• Organized and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Fundraising experience is a plus, but not required.
• Passion for Helping Wings’ mission and supporting families.

Time Commitment:

Flexible – volunteers can contribute a few hours per week or assist on specific campaigns/events.
