Pathways Hospice is recruiting volunteers and their pets to join our volunteer Pet Visitor Program. Does your pet love people and people love your pet? Consider sharing that love with a hospice patient! Pets must have pet therapy certification to be eligible!
Volunteers and their pets visit hospice patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in private homes. Visits times are flexible and scheduled according to the volunteer's preference and availability.
No experience is required. Online hospice training is provided through the Hospice and Homecare Network. No specific training is required for your pet, proof of general liability insurance is requested.
