Beacon of Hope Hospice is extending life and quality when cure is no longer an option. Providing hospice services to those who may live at home or in a facility. We have multiple opportunities for volunteering with our hospice patients. The duties of being a hospice volunteer may include social visiting, reading the newspaper, doing a puzzle, providing emotional support, etc. A hospice volunteer is a very important part of our team. They provide support to patients who may not have any friends or family. They provide a special kind of support that hospice patients need during their end of life journey.

We service patients in a 70 mile radius of Galesburg, IL so the Volunteer opportunities are for Aledo, Kewanee, Princeville, Macomb,Monmouth, and any town that is 70 miles or less of Galesburg, IL.
