Junior Achievement (JA) Finance Park Events (Spring 2026)

Teach student what you wish you would've learned in school! JA Finance Park provides middle & high school students with a hands-on simulation that lets students experience what adulthood might be like. The simulation issues each student a life scenario - giving them a career, salary, credit score, and family situation. Then, the students set their savings, budget for month, and try to stay within that budget, paying all the bills while balancing needs versus wants. This is where we need volunteers like you! Each group of 4-7 students needs a volunteer to offer expertise and guidance about everyday life as an adult. No teaching experience needed! JA provides a one-hour training on the day you volunteer so there is no prior preparation required! Volunteer opportunities are on the following dates from 8:30am-1:30pm.

March 17 – Family Success Center (for Colorado Military Academy)

March 18 – Family Success Center (for North Middle School)

April 20-22 – at Fountain Middle School

April 23 – Family Success Center (for Springs Studio for Academic Excellence)

April 27 – Family Success Center (for Odyssey ECCO High School & Air Academy High School)

April 28 – Family Success Center (for Home School Academy – D20)

April 29 – Family Success Center (for SPARK Online)

May 1 – Family Success Center (for Colorado Springs Charter Academy)

May 4 – Family Success Center (for West Middle School)

May 7 – Family Success Center (for Russell Middle School)
