Luminis Health Gilchrist Lifecare Institute has launched the "Pet Love Project" and is calling for volunteers and their pets to get involved and help bring joy, love, and comfort to our patients and their families. If you and your pet have time to give and the desire to share the gift of unconditional love, we welcome you to join our Pet Love team.
Volunteer Certification is done through Gilchrist's volunteer virtual training program.
We accept pet certification through: Off Leash K9 Training MD, Pets on Wheels, Pet Partners, or National Capital Therapy Dogs. Pets should be at least one years old, in good health. have current record of vaccinations, and have resided with their handler for at least six months.
