The Australia Exhibit Pond Clean Out
Every few years the Australia exhibit's pond needs a good clean outing. This involves moving mud and muck from the pond area with buckets/shovels, into a large dumpster. The more people we have the faster the work will go. This is a dirty job, you will get muddy, sweating and smell luck pond muck. Volunteers will need to bring a pair of muck boots or waders. The Zoo will provide the rest of the tools/gloves and a place to wash boots.
At the end of the day you will know you made the habitat better for the Zoo's Black swans and wallabies and native waterfowl.
